Sunday No-Gi Beginner Class - Sunday, April 24th 2022
We will be starting a Sunday No-Gi class at 10:00 AM. This will move the No-Gi open mat to 11:00 am.
Lovato Jr Seminar - Saturday, April 30th 2022
We are very excited to have one of my good friends and mentors, Rafael Lovato Jr doing a seminar at our academy in Broomfield at 11:00 AM. The seminar is for academy members only at will cost $60 for the 2 hour event. Rafael Lovato Jr is one of the most decorated American grapplers of all time winning IBJJF World Titles in gi and no-gi and is also a Bellator MMA champion as well. There will be no class or open mat that Saturday

Advanced Class Monday will move from 8 PM to 7 PM.
Grappling Industries - Saturday, May 7th 2022
Our team will be competing at the Grappling Industries event on Saturday, May 7th. This will be for kids and adults.

Guest Instructor: Yan "Pica Pau" Lucas - May 12th
Brazilian National Champion (2018) and World Championship medalist (2017), Yan “Pica Pau” will be teaching the 6 PM class at our academy. Yan is one of the young guns representing our association. His dad runs Six Blades Eastlake in San Diego and has been a training partner of mine for a long time. Yan has a great all around game with tons of energy. He will be in town competing in the IBJJF Denver Open and this class is free to our academy members.
IBJJF Denver Open - Saturday, May 14th 2022
The IBJJF returns. Make sure to get your IBJJF registration signed off. This is a great way for the Si Blades and Lovato Jr academies to come together to compete under one team.

Womens Class - Sunday, May 22nd 2022
Professor Tessa will be adding a women’s class on Sunday’s at 1 PM. near the end of May. This class will only be for a limited time only so make sure you check it out!
Academy Celebration - Saturday , June 4th 2022
We will be doing our annual summer celebration at the Escalera residence in Westminster, CO. This usual summer BBQ and hangout. Kids and adults are welcome. There will be lots of food and backyard games. BYOB or a side dish if you want, but there is plenty of food generally.
