My good friend and training partner showed off some Timeless Jiu-Jitsu in last night WNO co-main event by taking off the very tough Elder “El Monstro” Cruz. Cruz is a very tough competitor who made a name for himself by taking out Patrick Gaudio at the last ADCC. Cruz started the match strong with a lateral drop takedown, but Lovato was able to come back and finish the match with a rear naked choke after a beautiful muscle sweep to closed guard back sequence seen below.
