If you are looking for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Westminster, Colorado you might not realize how conveniently we are located here at Jubera Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We are easy to get to from Westminster exits off highway 36 by heading north off Sheridan exit or the Church Ranch. Since Westminster has a population about double that of Broomfield so we probably have about as many residents from Westminster training at our academy as Broomfield.
One of our favorite places to get some conditioning is at the Westminster Rec Center sledding hill located about 2 miles away at Sheridan and 104th ave. For conditioning we usually will run this hill about 5-10 times depending on how far out we are from a tournament. Usually it takes about 30 seconds to get up that hill and then you get a rest as you walk down it. Professor Tessa pictured above and I have run that hill countless times to get in shape for the tournaments. Professor Will is one of the fastest people at it, probably only beaten by Coach Finn.
In fact I reside in Westminster, Colorado myself with my wife and children and am about a 7 minute commute away. We have been located in Westminster for the last 6 years and have no interest in moving. I love Westminster because of the great schools and central location to get to Denver, Boulder and the mountains. Plus it is a bit more spread out than Boulder, CO.
