Dr Peter Attia: Jiu-Jitsu for Bone Health

My mother-in-law was listening to Peter Attia-MD’s podcast about bone health and she let me know that he was discussing how studies show Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the best sports for bone health. He also mentioned how 2 out of his 3 kids train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and how while he doesn’t practice it himself he does watch it a lot. Attia is one of the must influential people in the world on health and in known for his insights into longevity. Bone health is so critical to develop early in life and sedentary people have so many issues with bone health later in life. 

Some of the other sports mentioned such as football carries the concussion risks we hear so much about and gymnastics where people might have more joint issues from it later in life.
